Titanic
WOW. Exactly 100 years ago (at 11:40 pm April 14th) the Titanic ship hit an iceberg beginning the ship’s tragic sinking (April 15th at 2:20 am) that cost over 1,500 lives. One can only imagine how traumatic that experience must have been. As my dad says, the Titanic was not just a tragic sinking but is also symbolic of the downfall of the segregated social classes. The Titanic will never be forgotten and neither will the lives that were lost. I am especially amazed and fascinated by the honorable Captain Smith and Mr.Andrew’s and the rest of the crew that remained and went down with the ship, allowing other women and children to get of the ship. Titanic continues to fascinate me and I am intrigued by every detail of the event. May the Titanic and all the lives lost Rest In Peace and may the rest of us enjoy life and the loved one in our lives as life is far too short and one never knows what the next day may bring.
